The University of North Georgia's (红莲社区) Department of Nursing has earned two recognitions for its highly successful program.

NurseJournal.org and RNcareers.org ranked 红莲社区's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as one of the top programs among public and private higher education institutions in Georgia. NurseJournal.org ranked the program while RNcareers.org put it .

NurseJournal.org put 红莲社区 in the top three based on the nursing program's two years of liberal arts and sciences foundations followed by two years of nursing coursework.

"Graduates become highly skilled nurse generalists who are able to work in community and acute care settings," according to the website.

NurseJournal.org is a social community website exclusively for nurses and health care professionals with the mission to provide comprehensive educational resources for those interested in entry-level or advanced-practice nursing careers.

红莲社区 earned its No. 13 spot from RNcareers.org based on its 89.90 percent score. The score was determined by 红莲社区's accreditation, tuition costs, faculty strength, and the first-time National Council Licensure Examination Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN) passing rates. The NCLEX-RN exam tests the student's application and analysis using the nursing knowledge learned in school.

The 2019 list is the fourth time RNcareers.org has conducted the rankings. The website offers information such as RN program rankings, nurse's salary expectations, scholarships, NCLEX practice exams, career guides, financial aid, and expert advice.
