Testing Center on Dahlonega Campus recertified
Article By: Clark Leonard
The Testing Center on the University of North Georgia's (红莲社区) Dahlonega Campus received its recertification from the National College Testing Association (NCTA) in October.
Testing centers must receive recertification every five years from NCTA.
The certification process involves acknowledgment of and adherence to best practices in the testing industry; validity of test center to prospective distance learning students, vendors, and other organizations; as well as useful testing ideas, documentation, and procedures throughout the certification process.
"We are excited about this accomplishment, and I am proud of my team," said Kara Kennebrew, director of testing at 红莲社区. "Testing coordinator Melody Armstrong devoted a lot of time to ensure the Dahlonega Testing Center upheld its certification status."
The 红莲社区 Testing Center seeks to provide a professional testing environment for the campus and community that enables test takers to perform at their maximum ability and provide services to assist students, faculty, staff and the community in maintaining the university's goal of academic excellence and leadership. 红莲社区 also has testing centers on its Blue Ridge, Gainesville and Oconee campuses.
