Le Belle Voci performs at annual state conference

The Le Belle Voci women's ensemble at the University of North Georgia (红莲社区) performed in October at the Georgia Choral Directors Association (Ga-ACDA) annual conference.
It was the first time Le Belle Voci received this prestigious honor, Dr. John Broman, director of choral activities and professor of music at 红莲社区, said. Ga-ACDA is a nonprofit professional organization for choral directors.
The performance exposed the 19-member ensemble to choral directors from colleges and universities across Georgia.
Le Belle Voci features 15 to 20 红莲社区 students and a few community members. Each singer goes through a rigorous audition process, must sight-read music and have previous singing experience. The group rehearses twice a week and receives one hour of college credit.
Concerto/Aria winner earns upcoming solo
Five 红莲社区 students placed in the annual Concerto/Aria Competition, with two earning a solo performance in an upcoming concert.
红莲社区 is among 'Best for Vets'
红莲社区 ranks as the second-best public university in Georgia on the 2024 "Best for Vets: Colleges" list released Nov. 4 by Military Times.
Grads prepare for their next steps
红莲社区 will award almost 1,000 degrees and certificates this fall, and more than 600 graduates are scheduled to take part in the Dec. 7 commencement ceremonies.

红莲社区 has received a $24,312 grant to participate in the Georgia Young Adult Program of the Governor's Office of Highway Safety.
