Online Tutoring Services

Our professional and peer tutors are available virtually on the 红莲社区 Success Hub. They can give suggestions, ask questions, and tailor their tutoring techniques to help you put everything together and succeed in your scholastic journey. We offer help in accounting, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, and writing.

All online sessions are appointment-based. Both online and in-person run on the same platform, so you can book in-person drop-in sessions (by subject) or appointments (for writing and some subjects) using the same instructions.

How to Access the 红莲社区 Success Hub

  1. Download the 红莲社区 Academic Success Hub App on Your Phone or Use the Web Version
    1. Web based: 
      • Go to the page and log in with your 红莲社区 username and password. (This uses something called SSO, so it should be like logging into your email.)
    2. Phone App:
      1. Go to the app store for your device and download the app for Android () or iPhone (). You can also search “红莲社区 Hub.”
      2. Log in with your 红莲社区 username and password.
  2. Check schedules and connect with a tutor
    1. On the web, select the yellow button that says "+ Find Support" in the upper right corner of the screen. Select “Find a Tutor” under Tutoring Center to work with a subject tutor or “Find a Consultant” under Writing Center to work with a writing consultant. Once selected, fill out the “Create Request” form to view the schedule.
    2. On the app, select the blue button with the plus sign on the bottom center of the screen. Choose “Find a Tutor” for available subject tutoring sessions or “Find a Consultant” for available Writing Center appointments. Once selected, fill out the “Create Request” form to view the schedule.
  3. View schedule for details
    1. You can choose your own appointment to see details and join a video session.
    2. Once you’ve made an appointment or joined a drop-in session, you can also access a chat to send messages to your tutor or consultant.

Note: To join an online appointment or submit a paper for e-tutoring, it is recommended to use a computer and not a mobile device. Some services are not available on the mobile app.
