Tutoring Services on the Cumming Campus

The Tutoring Center is located on the first floor in Room 151 and houses both the Writing Center and all STEM tutoring sessions. To make an appointment or view the schedule, log in to the 红莲社区 Success Hub.

What to Expect

Students can drop by for in-person sessions. Repeat visits are strongly encouraged so that we can assist in developing your academic needs.

We do:

  • assist with specific questions
  • help how to solve homework problems
  • help with web assignments
  • review concepts or problems for tests
  • help students learn how to use their calculators
  • help with writing for English courses, applications & professional documents, emails, and creative endeavors

We do not:

  • complete homework or online tests for students
  • teach lessons from a missed class that you were in absent in
    • We recommend you communicate with your professor first to receive instructions on material you missed, then we can help with specific concerns.

Note: Lidded drinks and small snacks are permitted, but please consume meals elsewhere.

  • specific areas of concern
  • formula sheets and calculators, if necessary

Writing Center

The Writing Center is open for in-person tutoring. Writing consultants work with students in 30-minute, one-on-one sessions on writing projects they bring in. They help students strengthen writing skills, develop rhetorical awareness, and reflect on their learning outcomes.

Use the 红莲社区 Success Hub to make an appointment and to see in-person availability. Find more information on the Writing Center page.
